- Car Rental Loss and Damage Insurance
You can be covered for Damage to or Theft of a Rental Vehicle in a Covered Territory when you use your Eligible Card to reserve and pay for the Entire Rental and decline the collision damage waiver (CDW) at the Rental Company counter. Not all vehicle types or rentals are covered. Coverage is not available for vehicles rented in Australia, Italy and New Zealand. This product provides secondary coverage and does not include liability coverage.
- Baggage Insurance Plan
Travel more comfortably knowing you can be covered for lost, damaged, or stolen Baggage when you purchase the Entire Fare for a Common Carrier Vehicle ticket (e.g. plane, train, ship, or bus) on an Eligible Card. Coverage can be provided for up to $1,250 for carry-on Baggage and up to $500 for checked Baggage which includes up to $500 for checked Baggage and up to $250 for any High Risk Items such as jewelry and electronics, in excess of coverage provided by the Common Carrier. For New York residents, there is a $10,000 aggregate maximum limit for all Covered Persons per Covered Trip.

With Extended Warranty you can shop with less worry knowing the terms of the Original Manufacturer’s Warranty can be extended up to one additional year. Applies to warranties of 5 years or less on Covered Purchases in the United States or its territories or possessions.
- Purchase Protection
When an American Express Card Member charges a Covered Purchase with their Eligible Card, Purchase Protection can help protect their Covered Purchases for up to 90 days from the Covered Purchase date if it is stolen or accidentally damaged. The coverage is limited up to $1,000 per Covered Purchase, up to $50,000 per Card Member account per calendar year.
